Ingredients

For the brownies

  • 120g White’s Oats Organic Jumbo Oats
  • 80g cacao powder
  • 160g tahini
  • 2 tbsp maple syrup
  • 2 tbsp coconut oil, melted
  • 4 Medjool dates, finely chopped

To coat

  • 200g 75% dark chocolate, melted
  • Sea salt

Method

  1. Place the oats, cacao powder, tahini, maple syrup, coconut oil, and chopped dates in a Nutribullet or high-speed blender. Blend until everything is finely mixed and forms a smooth, sticky dough.
  2. Line an 8-inch square dish with parchment paper. Press the blended mixture into the dish and flatten with your hands to create an even layer. Freeze for one hour to set.
  3. Once set, slice into 12 pieces.
  4. To coat the brownies, dip each piece into the melted chocolate using a fork to lift them out. Place on a tray or plate lined with parchment paper. Drizzle any remaining chocolate over the brownies in a squiggle pattern and sprinkle a little sea salt on top before the chocolate sets.
  5. Allow the brownies to harden completely before serving. Store them in an airtight container in the fridge for up to four days.
